France in Flames, 800,000 in the Streets

France is burning. Reports put as many as 800,000 people in the streets, with fires set, government buildings stormed, and riot police deployed as crowds push toward the Élysée Palace. Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne runs the footage city by city. The tourist office in Lyon, a heritage building in the heart of the city, is set alight. Marseille City Hall is reported taken, with Palestinian flags raised inside. And French authorities are said to be moving against social media reporting so the rest of the world cannot see it.
It is not staying in France. The same scenes spread to Milan, Rome, Turin, Bologna, Naples, Genoa, Florence and Venice, to Brussels and Liège, to Madrid and Barcelona, and as far as Tirana. In Milan, rioters are reported outside the Duomo attempting to set the cathedral on fire. British journalist Tommy Robinson tells an American audience that none of this is far away, and that what Europe is living through now is what the United States should expect next. He describes growing up in a town north of London that had one mosque when he was born and has forty-five today, and he argues that the people doing this are not coming to assimilate.
Then to Ukraine, where President Trump says it is time for a new leader and Elon Musk agrees. Pressed on a ceasefire that neither side admits to, Trump answers that they agreed because he said they agreed. He puts the monthly toll at 32,000, mostly young men, and relays the words of a Ukrainian woman who said Zelensky has destroyed her country and taken her men away. Secretary Marco Rubio untangles Starlink from Starshield and denies that anyone in Washington ordered Ukraine’s access slowed. And Trump signs an executive order exempting Russia from the sanctions legislation Congress passed last month.
Underneath all of it, one question. Who profits? Asked about the effect of war on defense stocks, the chief executive of Lockheed Martin answers that investors should understand the demand is not fleeting, it is permanent. Julian Assange described the goal as endless war rather than successful war, a way of washing money out of national tax bases and into the hands of a transnational security alliance. Also in the show: a White House press secretary out of the job after four days, and Congresswoman Ilhan Omar saying on camera that Charlie Kirk’s legacy belongs in the dustbin of history.
