Prison Guards, a Mayor's Prophecy, and 54,000 Souls: The Real Story of Chicago | As Real As It Gets Ep. 2

Why Chicago? In this episode, Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne reveals how a move he felt led to make after a historic breakthrough in London turned into an assignment he never expected — bypassing Las Vegas and heading straight into one of Chicago's toughest, gang-affected neighborhoods. What follows is a battle for the city fought on every front: unions demanding cash before allowing merchandise sales, security guards pulled straight out of prison who end up in tears at the altar by the end of the crusade, and a distribution site so overwhelmed by need that forklifts can barely move through the crowd.
The episode also goes inside a private meeting with Chicago's mayor, where Dr. Howard-Browne delivers a personal prophetic word that leaves the mayor in tears — and secures the doors that had been closed to the ministry. By the time the two-week crusade wraps, the numbers are staggering: over 54,000 verified salvations, thousands of bags of groceries, bikes, and even a Mercedes given away to a city many had written off.
This is the unfiltered account of what it takes to turn resistance into revival — proof that no city, and no person, is too far gone.
