Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne says up front this one might bore you. He is probably right. He also says it has to come out anyway, because Senator Rand Paul has released Anthony Fauci's private diary and it goes before the Senate this week.
Fauci kept near-daily notes from December 2019 through December 2022. Rand Paul's release walks through what those entries say against what the country was told at the time. On January 31, 2020, Fauci was patched into a call where scientists were examining the furin cleavage site and openly discussing deliberate insertion and a laboratory escape. On the February 1 call, according to Fauci's own account of the twelve scientists present, only two argued for natural origin. In January he privately wrote that the Wuhan wet market was not the source but the amplifier, while the public line was still pointing at the market. After the head of China's CDC confirmed asymptomatic transmission, Fauci told Larry Kudlow the economy was okay for now. In July 2021 he wrote that the FBI had no idea what they were talking about for concluding a lab leak, and directed National Security Council officials toward the scientists he trusted instead. On the research itself, his line was that it was not gain of function by our definition. He also complained about the hours spent answering letters he described as driven by conspiracy theories from senators, Rand Paul among them.
Also this week: J.D. Vance tells Joe Rogan the COVID shot made him the sickest he has been in fifteen years, worse than any of the five times he caught the virus, and says the real problem is that side effects cannot be discussed at all. Rogan points to the criminal fines pharmaceutical companies have paid while remaining exempt from vaccine injury liability. Two old Obama clips resurface in which he calls for employer enforcement and border security in language that would be labeled far right today, noting that workplace arrests of illegal workers fell from 17,552 in 1997 to 451 in 2002. And over 257,000 people have been evacuated as wildfires burn across France, Spain, and Italy, made worse by drought.
